With a fine history going back to our inception as a Senior Squadron in 1972, Twin Pine has much to be proud of and to capitalize on. We are the humble successor squadron to a number of Central New Jersey area squadrons, including Hamilton and the original Trenton squadron. Twin Pine today enjoys:

• Committed seniors who serve the Civil Air Patrol well past the “graduation” of their own children. In this, we have experience and continuity of purpose.

• A reputation for good work and for stepping up to support the Group, Wing, Region, and National HQ.

• Skilled pilots, aircrew members, and airborne photographers, trained in almost all of the aviation missions of CAP.

• A reputation for one of the finest and no nonsense cadet programs in the nation, with ten years of awards to prove it, not to mention numerous cadet “graduates” who have gone on to the various service academies. We were proud to be selected as the National Squadron of Distinction in 2018.

• Parent and sponsor volunteers who support our cadets in any number of ways.

• A central location in New Jersey, drawing from a wide and diverse geographic area, which includes nearby Pennsylvania.

• Generous members and parents who support all the efforts of the squadron and who have helped ease budgetary constraints
